Kamis, 8 April 2021, siswa-siswi kelas VI SD Strada Kampung Sawah melaksanakan kegiatan Rekoleksi bersama tim dari Civita Youth Camp. Tidak seperti tahun-tahun yang telah llau, tahun ini kegiatan Rekoleksi diadakan secara virtual, mengingat kondisi yang belum memungkinkan untuk bertatap muka secara langsung. Tema yang diusung dalam rekoleksi kali ini adalah “Aku Peduli, Aku Hebat, Aku Siap Meraih Cita-cita”. Siswa kelas VI dibagi dalam tiga kelompok zoom, jumlah peserta seluruhnya 81 siswa bersama 6 pendamping dan 6 Fasilitator Tim Civita yaitu Romo Suharyadi SJ, Sr. Baptista CB, Br. Fidelis CSA, Sr. Yuliani CB, Fr. Toni OSC, dan Fr. Nico OSC.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengingatkan kembali bahwa kita semua dicintai oleh Tuhan melalui orang tua, guru, dan alam ciptaan sehingga dengan sadar kita mau peduli terhadap lingkungan alam dan sesama. Selain tujuan tersebut, para guru mengharapkan kesiapan mental dan hati siswa untuk mengikuti pelaksanaan Penilaian Akhir Tahun dan Ujian Sekolah.
Proses kegiatan dilaksanakan dari pukul 08.30 sampai dengan pukul 12.00 siang. Selama waktu kurang lebih 3,5 jam siswa dipandu melalui dua sesi. Sebelum sesi dimulai siswa diajak untuk bernyanyi dan berdoa.
Sesi pertama “ Peduli Diri, Masa Depan, dan Alam Lingkungan” pada sesi ini siswa diajak untuk mendengarkan lagu Cinta Bumi, melalui syair lagu Cinta Bumi, siswa diajak untuk menyadari dan mau merawat alam ciptaan. Setelah itu, siswa menyaksikan biografi aktivis cilik yang dengan keberaniannya mewartakan dan menjadi pembicara pada pertemuan PBB mengenai lingkungan hidup terutama mengenai iklim global. Siswa diminta memberikan kesan-kesan terhadap biografi aktivis cilik yang mendunia tersebut. Sebagian besar siswa merasa kagum atas keberanian aktivis yang mengajak seluruh dunia memperhatikan kondisi bumi kita.
Sesi kedua “Motivasi Belajar” pada sesi ini siswa diajak untuk mengungkapkan cita-citanya dan menyaksikan kisah anak-anak seusia mereka yang penuh perjuangan untuk dapat belajar. Setelah menyaksikan tanyangan tersebut, siswa diajak untuk merefleksikan melalui pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh Fasilitator, selanjutnya siswa diminta melakukan aksi berupa membuat jadwal belajar dan mempresentasikan di hadapan Romo/Suster/Frater/Bruder, guru, dan teman-teman.
