Dua hari ini, suasana SD Strada Kampung Sawah terlihat berbeda setelah dua minggu selalu berwarna dan ramai karena hadirnya para siswa di sekolah. Ada apakah gerangan? Apakah PTM dihentikan? Bukan! Dua hari ini siswa-siswi SD Strada Kampung Sawah bersama dengan seluruh siswa SD hingga SMA/K dalam perkumpulan Strada melakukan simulasi LMS Sokrates. Simulasi LMS Sokrates ini dilaksanakan mengingat dua minggu ke depan, seluruh siswa di Perkumpulan Strada akan melaksanakan PTS Gasal atau Penilaian Tengah Semester Gasal. Simulasi ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana kesiapan sistem manajemen pembelajaran atau LMS ini jika dilaksanakan serentak pada hari dan jam yang sama, diakses oleh sekolah-sekolah di bawah naungan Perkumpulan Strada.
LMS Sokrates sendiri sudah digunakan selama 2 tahun pembelajaran ini, dengan sebelumnya dikenal dengan e-learning. Adanya LMS Sokrates pada masa pandemi ini membantu para pendidik, siswa, dan juga orang tua dalam mengakses pembelajaran. Ini adalah cara baru dalam proses belajar mengajar yang melibatkan internet sebagai sistem pembelajarannya.
Demi meningkatkan kualitas sistem LMS, maka selama dua hari ini 16-17 September 2021 SD Strada Kampung Sawah menghentikan sementara proses belajar tatap muka terbatas di sekolah dan menginfokan para siswa untuk mengikuti Simulasi PTS LMS Sokrates ini dari rumah.
Pelaksanaan simulasi hari pertama sejumlah 494 dari 496 siswa SD Strada Kampung Sawah mengikuti simulasi PTS Matematika dari rumah mereka masing-masing. Sedangkan pada hari kedua simulasi PTS Bahasa Indonesia dilaksanakan oleh 491 siswa. Beberapa siswa menyampaikan kendala tidak mengikuti simulasi ini dikarenakan permasalahan jaringan.
Sebelum simulasi dimulai bapak-ibu guru mempersiapkan dan menyapa anak-anak melalui layar zoom, bapak ibu guru memastikan agar anak-anak siap secara bersama-sama mengerjakan soal simulasi dengan tepat waktu. Bapak-ibu guru memberikan motivasi dan siap mendampingi anak-anak selama simulasi berlangsung.

Semoga temuan kendala yang dialami selama dua hari ini menjadi catatan penting bagi peningkatan kualitas sistem LMS Sokrates yang lebih baik lagi kedepannya. Bagaimana anak-anak? Siap ya dengan PTS Gasal, dua minggu yang akan datang dengan LMS Sokrates.
